This New Old Stock (NOS) Spirax Sarco Type 25P Pilot-Operated Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) is a critical component for industrial steam systems and steam system applications. This 2 Inch (2" NPT threaded) steam valve is engineered for reliable steam pressure reduction and precise pressure regulator function, maintaining accurate downstream pressure under load.
The valve consists of the main valve body (Stock 55227) and a detachable pilot valve (Stock 59607). It features a robust Cast Iron Valve body with hardened stainless steel trim, ideal for process control and high-temperature environments up to 450∘F. The 250 PSI maximum inlet pressure unit is equipped for the 80-250 PSI downstream pressure range and is suitable for HVAC valve and manufacturing steam regulation.
Condition Note (Critical for Buyer):
This unit is in new, unused condition with all original plastic protective plugs intact. However, it has been around moisture at some point while in storage, and both the main valve and pilot valve show easily seen oxidation spots. The product itself remains unused and fully functional. The original packaging is deteriorating, so it will ship safely in new protective packaging. Sold complete with original Installation and Maintenance Instructions.
